Dear journal,
For future reference, I've decided to write down my current curfews and schedules.
Rules*
1. No one over without permission
2. No soft drinks
3. No energy drinks
4. Don't open the door when home alone
5. If phone ID is blocked or restricted, don't answer
6. Do not break any curfews
7. Stick to the schedule
*You will be given three warnings if you break the rules; if you exceed three, you will be grounded; if you continue to break the rules, you will be returned to the orphanage.
Curfews
1. Computer curfew - one hour a day
2. House curfew - be home by 9 p.m.
3. Game curfew - two hours of video games per week (extra 30 mins. on the weekend)
4. Phone curfew - approved calls only/30 mins. talk time/20 texts
Schedule
Week days:
5-6 a.m.: Wake up/get ready for school
7-3 p.m.: School
3:30-5:30 p.m.: Mandatory study
5:30-7:00 p.m.: Dinner
7-10 p.m.: Free time
10 p.m.: Sleep
Weekends:
12 p.m.: Chores (dishes, vacuum, sweeping, mopping)
~2 p.m.: Mandatory volunteer work
5 p.m.: Computer/video games
~8 p.m.: Family time with adoptive parents
11 p.m.: Sleep
Those are all set by my adoptive parents!
So, other than that, I guess it's pretty boring around here. If it wasn't for Hope and Leo, I might drop dead of boredom. At least in the orphanage, there were lots of people to talk to! There's usually no one in the house except me. Which is why it's so easy to break curfews a lot! I try not to, but I can only stare at a television for so long. I've already gotten two warnings for breaking curfew and getting caught. I'm sort of worried about it happening again. I don't want to be grounded or sent back to the orphanage! I think I might die if I was!
