Dear journal,
I don't know how much fun this will be for me or for you, but I feel I must express feelings not to the masses; but to write them on a humble piece of paper! I can't imagine a time when I was happier. I've been living in France for some time. And let me just say that it is gorgeous! The lights of Paris are enough to make a shooting star look dull. I enjoy the feeling of being surrounded by people very much like me. It's certainly the opposite of Kendrick. To live in Paris is a privilege for the upper crust of society. The food is always gourmet, everywhere you go! Everyone is thin and beautiful. France is so much more cultured than America. I love every inch of it.
However, I do miss the people in Kendrick. Like my father. And Sarah. And, of course, Cale, though I've seen him recently. I feel like I'm forgetting someone. Well, there's Leo. I mean, you can't not miss a kid like that. Who am I missing? Oh, yes, Evan! I can't even tell you how much I adore him. He's certainly the more entertaining one out of my friends. Though, lately, he's been acting a little odd. I mean, odd isn't out of place for him, but he's being stranger than normal! To point it out would simply mean a slur of words thrown at me. He's not so good at handling criticism. I don't know. I'm sure he'll get over it.
And I really hate how everyone is growing up, getting married, having kids, et cetera! I don't want to end up like them. "Settling down" just isn't my thing. And I can say the same for all of the Luxis family. Everyone in my family are the same people as they were when they were younger. Even Grand-mère. She says she was like me when she was young. That's hard to believe!
Anyways, I'll leave it at that today. Until next time!
